27 Haiku

hung from the moon’s horns

venus pales like a jewel

hides in my pocket

i’m being a sun

foolish humans worship me

just doing my job

some quarks puzzle me

not transforming into suns

instead just power

one day you just explode

spreading star stuff everywhere

sunshine playtime over

a tug and pull

gravity wells inside me

binary star love

quantum mechanics

traveling at speed of light

don’t hit the head lights

red planet ice caps

frozen tundra far from home

a warm spot in me

asteroid hits mars

pristine surface no longer

crater faced teen

poor toulose-lautrec

you think shorty is so hot

worlds are my canvas

god running barefoot

i stub my toe in the dark

two unshod ponies

kicking stellar cats

god laughing to hear them yowl

yanking cosmic tails

who understands god

artificer of all life

creator of doom

dirty goldfish bowls

too much manna from heaven!

foul food in water

a giant lizard

does it eat plants or poodles

find out from this spot

met abe lincoln

everybody says he’s smart

stovepipe on his head

genetic structure

every earth creature has one

can i alter yours

vulcan builds a world

erector and creator

cores do not crumble

walking on the moon

i met a man in a suit

said his name is neil

pisces nebula

it reels you in like a fish

gasping and flopping

winged horses like

comets at the speed of light

make mine extra fast

how about uranus

perfect lovely little orb

what’s up with them jokes

the mind and the soul

form imaginary landscapes

vulcan hands mold fact

ah the after life

tomorrow there’s hell to pay

last night play play play

gotta love those greeks

they worshipped us all as gods

oh the good old days

bathroom vanity

flowers can not turn their heads

to look at their stems

making love last night

up on a blanket of stars

cold forging baby nova

flying snakes appear

the spirit force lies asleep

while the body lives
